5 Rare Skins In Fortnite

Fortnite has a lot of skins in its arsenal. You'd barely come across someone who owns all the skins in the game. That being said, it's not something impossible to do.

Anyway, when we talk about rare skins in Fortnite, the first skin that comes to our mind is the Renegade Raider skin. It is indeed, the rarest skin in Fortnite by far. Why is it so rare?

Well, the skin was first seen in Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 1. There was no battle pass concept back then. However, you still had to level up your Fortnite account to a certain level before you could purchase that skin.

Renegade Raider wasn't the only one. Chapter 1 Season 1 had a few more skins that weren't seen in the game after that season.

That being said, I won't be including those skins in this list because they're by far the rarest, However, there are a few more skins that are actually quite rare in the game.

Top 5 rarest skins in Fortnite

#1 Hacivat

Hacivat tops the list because the skin came to the Fortnite item shop only once. And even when it was in the item shop, no one really bothered to buy the skin because it looks weird.

It didn't sit well with the community so Epic Games decided to pull the plug on the skin for good. Hacivat did have a strong Turkish influence though. Too bad it failed to leave an impression in the game.

#2 Double Helix

The Double Helix wouldn't have been a rare skin had it not been tied to a promotion. You could get this skin only if you purchased a Nintendo Switch device during the promotion.

The promotion has expired at this point of time. And sadly, these products are either out of stock right now or they're grossly overpriced.

#3 Backbone

Backbone was Fortnite's very own biker gang leader. This skin has made sporadic appearances in the Fortnite item shop. The last time it was seen in the shop was back in 2019, and hasn't been seen since then.

Although the game was comparatively popular in 2019, the reason why many people refrained from buying this skin still remains a mystery to me.

#4 Skull Trooper

The Skull Trooper is a really cool Fortnite skin. Although it's been in the shop a couple of times it still isn't seen that much in the game.

That being said, there are different variants of Skull Trooper that have gone live time and again. Funnily enough, this skin wasn't released in Fortnite China because it has skulls.

#5 Sash Sergeant

Sash Sergeant was an NPC during the last season in Fortnite. However, that wasn't enough to bring the skin back in the Fortnite item shop.

This skin was seen 779 days ago. Lore wise, Sash Sergeant is a snapshot of Jonesy and probably is one of the reasons why the skin may not return to the game again.
