Where Is The Naruto Skin In Fortnite Season 8?

Ever since Epic Games' Chief Creative Officer, Donald Mustard revealed that Naruto will be a part of Fortnite Season 8, fans have been eagerly waiting for the Leaf Village Shinobi on the island.

Initially announced to be a part of the Season 8 Battle Pass, it was later confirmed that there was a misunderstanding and that the globally renowned anime character won't be in the battle pass. However, the developers did confirm that the skin will be released during Season 8 itself.

Having said that, it has almost been a month since the release of Fortnite Season 8 and there hasn't been any sign of Naruto yet. This has led multiple fans to question whether the Shinobi will ever make it onto the island or not.

Without further ado, let's dive in and take a look at some of the possible reasons behind this prolonged delay in Naruto's release in Fortnite Season 8.

Content Creators and data miners are still expecting Naruto to arrive before the end of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 8, which gives Epic a few more weeks for the skin to show in the Item Shop.

Naruto's Release in Fortnite Season 8

While there have been various speculations regarding the skin's release either on Naruto's Anniversary (21st September) or the character's birthday (10th October), Epic Games hasn't confirmed these theories until now.

Having said that, the delay behind Naruto's release could be a different story altogether. Given that Naruto's animations are not exactly in sync with Fortnite's usual appearance, the developers could be facing some trouble in implementing these varied animations in the game.

A similar example of varied animations can be spotted in Fortnite with the Rick and Morty skins that were released in Season 7.

Nevertheless, given that the developers were able to render those skins without much trouble, it is only a matter of time before the Naruto skin's appearance in Fortnite is perfected. There is also a very high possibility of the skin releasing on Naruto's birthday, but we will have to wait until Epic Games confirms the same.
