Thanks to the resourcefulness of Epic Games, Fortnite is no stranger to collaborations. They've had an illustrious history with respect to the same, and have managed to build, what is now known as, the Fortnite metaverse.
Venom and Carnage are the two most recent collaborations that we've seen in Fortnite Season 8. And as per recent leaks, we could be seeing a collaboration with Monopoly.
Everything we know about the Fortnite x Monopoly collaboration
We don't know much about it to be honest. According to popular Fortnite data miner Hypex, a few Monopoly related cosmetics were decrypted recently.
He listed out all the cosmetics in a tweet. However, the only cosmetics that were decrypted are all back blings. We are yet to see a Monopoly related skin.
That being said, we're not sure when these back blings will come to the game. Nor do we know if there will be an event associated with the same.
According to the description on these cosmetics, we'll be seeing them drop sometime in Fortnite Season 8 itself. And that's about it.
However, this isn't the first time that Monopoly has collaborated with Fortnite. The popular board game by Hasbro has it's very own Fortnite edition too. So this collaboration doesn't really come as a surprise.
