Last month's Fornite DreamHack Open was canceled last month due to a game-breaking duplication bug that compromised the integrity of the tournament.

With the issue fixed by Epic Games, DreamHack is back on for May 2021 with a prize pool of $250,000.

How to Register for DreamHack

The Fortnite DreamHack Open is a Duos format tournament that will take place between May 5 2021 and May 20, 2021.

The tournament is only available for players on NA East and Europe servers.

Registration for the Fortnite DreamHack Open tournament is simple:

The May 2021 Fortnite DreamHack Open will be Duos format with 500 duos advancing from the open qualifiers to the semi-finals.

As with many other Fortnite tournaments, each Duo can play up to 10 games over the three-hour open qualifier heat.

Only 50 Duos will advance from the Semis to the Grand Final, again with each Duo able to play 10 games over the three-hour heat.

The Grand Final will contain six consecutive games, with games starting every 35 minutes.

Points are awarded per elimination.

During Qualifying Heats, each elimination is worth four points

During Semi and Finals, each is worth six points.
