Kitash is one of the NPCs on Fortnite island in Season 8. He may not look like the friendliest person on the planet. But come on, everyone deserves friends.
From the looks of it, he's been living out of a trash can. And the only friend he has is a banana peel. That could be what's left of Peely but let's not go down that road.
Just like the other NPCs in Fortnite Season 8, he's got his own set of quests. You need to interact with him in order to unlock his questline.

How to complete Kitbash Making Friends Questline challenges in Fortnite Season 8?

In order to find Kitbash, you will have to make your way to Dirty Docks. He can be found lurking around the huge cranes that you have in the area.
That being said, once you've interacted with Kitbash, his entire questline will open up.
Stage 1 - Collect Nuts & Bolts (12,000 XP)
Nuts and bolts are the alternative to mechanical parts. They're a crafting ingredient and help you craft weapons. In some cases they help you side grade weapons as well.
That being said, you'll be able to find these nuts & bolts inside red tool boxes that are littered all over the island.
Stage 2 - Craft an item (14,000 XP)
Crafting an item is as easy as it gets in Fortnite Season 8. You can either craft a weapon using nuts and bolts.
Alternatively, you can enter the Sideways and grab one of those cubes that those monsters drop. They will help you craft the sideways weapons too.
Stage 3 - Upgrade a weapon at an upgrade bench (16,000 XP)
Upgrade benches made a surprising return in Fortnite Season 6 and they've stuck around for a while now.
In order to complete this challenge, you need to upgrade a weapon at one of these upgrade benches. These upgrades cost gold so make sure you have some gold stockpiled before trying to complete this challenge.
Stage 4 - Honk a vehicle's horn within 10 meters of an opponents (18,000 XP)
This is probably the silliest missions of them all. You don't really want to let your opponents know that you're approaching at them with a car.
Either way, you need to honk your horn within 10 meters your opponent in order to complete this challenge.
Stage 5 - Survive storm phases (20,000 XP)
This is the simplest yet toughest challenge of them all. In order to complete this challenge, you need to survive towards the final circle.
