A new Fortnite update has been released today (May 4) for all platforms.

This means that players on Xbox, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and mobile should see some new changes available the next time they log on to play.

This latest patch was announced on the Fortnite Status Twitter account this afternoon along with the details on what they update is hoping to fix.

The official Tweet reads:

"We've released a maintenance patch on all platforms to address cosmetic issues, stability, and an issue that could sometimes prevent players from picking up Raz's Explosive Bow."

It's not clear currently if this new maintenance patch requires a download, but we would imagine that if one does become available it will be relatively small in size.

[Update - It's suggested that today's update is patch 3.15 and requires a 1.5GB download on PS4 and 1GB on PS5 - More to follow]

It was also announced by the official Fortnite Status account that today's update will remove one of the game's outfits.

"As part of today's maintenance patch, the unfinished Style of the Tsuki Outfit has been removed," a tweet from the team explained, before adding, "The completed Style will arrive in a future update."
