The most crowded POI in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

The POIs in Fortnite have evolved over the years. Some have dwindled in popularity while some have succumbed to the sands of time.

However, there are a couple of POIs that are flocked by loopers every season. During the early days of Fortnite loopers chose to land at POIs depending upon their skill level, but now everyone chooses to land close to the centre of the map for no reason whatsoever.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6. too, since the very beginning, has seen a few POIs that are flocked by loopers. Although we're in the final few days of the season, I consciously avoid the POIs listed below.

5 heavily contested POIs in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

#1 Sweaty Sands

As the name suggests, this place is a paradise for sweats. It's easy to rotate out from Sweaty Sands. Moreover, this POI offers a lot of floor loot and has the highest number of treasure chests in the game. This makes Sweaty Sands one of the most contested spots in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.

#2 The Spire

This is the central-most location on the map. I'm not really sure why people land here during in the first place. The only bonus is that you'll get to take on Glyph Master Raz here. You do get a legendary bow for defeating him, but it's not wise to go up against this NPC without a good loadout.

#3 Pleasant Park

There isn't anything pleasant about Pleasant Park in Fortnite. It's a POI littered with houses, making this place a literal death trap. That being said, most Fortnite weekly challenges revolve around this POI only, and the houses do contain a good amount of loot.

#4 Boney Burbs

Boney Burbs is close to the Spire and Colossal Crops. Although Colossal Crops used to be crowded at one point of time, it isn't anymore. The best part about landing at Boney Burbs in Fortnite is that you get to interact with Tarana. She sells animal parts in exchange for gold. So if you've landed at Boney Burbs and you've got yourself a makeshift weapon, make sure you get a hold of those animal parts from Tarana. This place also offers a good amount of floor loot.

#5 Dirty Docks

Dirty Docks is one such POI that could provide building materials for the entire lobby. That and the decent amount of floor loot that it has makes it a nice little landing spot for loopers. You won't find sweats here often since it's located towards the edge of the map. Rotating from this spot can be a challenge at times but that's fine. It's better to die in the storm rather than have someone build a huge castle in your face.

And with that we come to the end of the list. If you're a casual player like me, feel free to avoid these spots. And if you're a sweat, please go easy on us.
