We're asked to burn down structures in Fortnite very often. However, with Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, we've got very limited means of setting things on fire.
During last season we had the flame bow at our disposal. The same has been vaulted this season, making it slightly difficult for all the loopers who love setting things on fire in Fortnite.
That being said, how do you ignite enemy player structures in Fortnite?
Igniting enemy player structures in Fortnite
Although there aren't many ways in which you can set enemy player structures on fire, you can still do it nevertheless.
The first method includes getting yourself a gas can. You'll find these red objects lying at gas stations or even inside garages. Once you've had it, you need to make your way into a fire fight.
If you're lucky enough, you'll be able to see the enemy building structures high into the sky. All you need to do is toss the gas can at the base of the structure and shoot at it.
The gas can will explode after a couple of shots, setting the structure on fire.
Alternatively, you can go on a nice little firefly hunt. These fireflies were introduced back in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 and have continued to stay on since then.
These small firefly clusters can be spotted in random areas in Fortnite. I've personally come across a good deal of these clusters near Slurpy Swamps and Weeping Woods.
All you need to do is approach them and interact with them. They'll automatically be bundled into a glass jar. Approach any enemy structure and toss this glass jar at the structure.
This will set the entire structure on fire.
In order to complete this Fortnite season 7 week 8 challenge, you need to burn down around 15 enemy player structures. It's an easy 30,000 XP if you ask me.
For easier completion, you could face off against a friend in creative and take turns on burning down builds. I just hope completing these missions in creatives still counts.
