Where To Place Alien Communication Devices In Fortnite

The UFOs and the alien wasn't enough in Fortnite. We now need to put up alien communication devices.

I'm not sure what the idea behind this is. We don't need any more aliens. Loopers are being abducted at an alarming rate. And to top it off, we have a sinister looking mothership that's towering over the island.

These alien communication devices are going to make things worse. But I know none of you all share the same concerns as I do, so I'll just tell you where to place these alien communication devices in Fortnite.

Alien communication device locations in Fortnite

For better and easier communications, you need to place these devices in places that are very high. Luckily, we do have a few mountain peaks on the island. So these seem like the best location to place these devices.

The two spots are located towards the southern end of the island. The first spot is on the peak above Destined Dish. After you've jumped off the battle bus, you can land directly at Destined Dish and make your way up. Or you can land on this spot directly.

The second spot is located on the peak that's bang opposite to this one. You can either land there during the next match, or you can work your way up to it. The map below shows both these locations.

Once you've placed both these devices, you'll complete another Fortnite Season 7 week 3 quest. You'll also be 30,000 XP richer!

Instead of landing at these two places, you can land at Chonkers Customs and grab a vehicle from there. Drop some Chonkers tires on your ride and then scale the peaks in the car.

Not only will that make things slightly easier for you in terms of navigation, the car will also shield you from any hostiles you may or may not encounter.

Also, these are alien communication devices. So if you get abducted, it's not my fault. You knew the risks!
