Fortnite Status recently posted a tweet with the details for the update 17.10's release on June 22nd. The tweet also contained additional information regarding a "new surprise" that is supposed to descend along with the update.

According to the tweet in question, Fortnite v17.10's preparation process will begin from 8:30 AM BST or 7:30 AM UTC. Guessing from past records, the downtime could last for a few hours before the servers go back up. However, it will be interesting to see what surprises the new update will have in store for the players.
How to enter the Mothership
Based on the information revealed by Fortnite Status, players could be introduced to a method that will allow them to enter the mothership. However, given that there has been no official confirmation for the same, it remains to be seen whether players will be able to access the mothership after the update arrives.
Update on Arena Hype Points
As had been previously confirmed by Epic Games, the competitive pre-season ends on June 22nd. This further means that all Arena Hype Points will be reset after the release of update 17.10 in Fortnite Season 7.
