Noted Fortnite leaker VastBlastt first posted the official Fortnite Season 7 splash image showing the Fortnite Season 7 release date as June 8 with the tagline “they’re coming.”
It’s surrounded by purple letters from what looks like a fictional language and a beam of light shining down from an unknown source – or, rather, a source that would be unknown if we didn’t already know Fortnite aliens were on the way.
Presumably, Epic will be releasing an official trailer or announcement sometime in the next few days leading up to the Season 7 release date.

A short video using a similar aesthetic was also found on the official Fortnite TikTok.
VastBlastt suggested some kind of reveal is likely planned for this week, as Epic is testing Fortnite patch v. 17.00 on staging servers now.
The news follows reports from earlier in the day that aliens were already showing up in Fortnite, As yet, Epic has made no official announcement or comment on aliens in Fortnite, but with the splash screen up now, it’s only a matter of time before we get a Fortnite Season 7 trailer.
