After Coral Castle, Bony Burbs May Undergo Transformation In Fortnite

Bony Burbs was introduced in Fortnite during Chapter 2 Season 7. This place was rich in loot and also housed the NPC Tarana.

However, with the inception of Fortnite Season 7, Bony Burbs feels rather out of place. We don't have a primal theme anymore. Although we've got a new alien infection on our hands, most of the primal elements have also vanished.

Yes, we do have some of the guardian towers still standing, but that's about it. Keeping all that in mind, will Bony Burbs go up in smoke soon?

Will Bony Burbs be destroyed in Fortnite Season 7?

Truth be told there's no indication about the same from the data miners or from the developers directly. However, if you've been playing Fortnite for a while now, you'll know how Epic Games functions when it comes to major events in Fortnite.

There's an uncommon mission that Joey hands out. It reads as "Potential landing site needs investigation." You'll have to land at Bony Burbs to complete this mission.

It's a fairly simple mission, but there's a high chance that it may be pointing to something more sinister. Just like Coral Castle, not many people in Fortnite land at this place either.

This place, however, used to be a hot drop during the previous season. While it's failed to maintain it's status as a hot drop, it still has a lot of loot to offer. That being said, it's highly possible that Epic Games would want to replace this POI with something that fits with the season better.

I'm not really sure if this transformation will happen in the first place. Fortnite Season 7 runs for a good long while, so there's ample time for any change whatsoever.

That being said, I wonder what POI would come in place of Bony Burbs, if at all it happens. Would Tilted Towers make a return? Who knows!
