Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7: How To Collect The Kymera Ray Gun

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7's Alien Invasion theme has brought forward a ton of new futuristic weapons for players to find on the island.

The Kymera Ray Gun is an alien weapon that can be often seen equipped with the Alien Invaders. However, finding one of these Alien invaders and claiming the Kymera Ray Gun can be challenging for some players.

There are three variants of the Kymera Ray Gun available in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 for players to collect. Needless to say, the difference between each variant depends on the rarity of the weapon.

How to find the Kymera Ray Gun

In order to find the Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite, players will need to follow a series of steps.

At the beginning of each game in Season 7, players can find a purple glow emerging from three random POIs on the island. These three respective locations indicate the presence of a scattered UFO in the vicinity.

Players will need to select any one of the three locations and head towards it directly from the Battle Bus. Once at the location, the player needs to attract the UFO's attention so that they are abducted by the Alien device.

After the player finds themself inside the UFO, they will need to fire shots at the "Trespasser" marked region. This will cause the UFO to crash and enrage the NPC pilot. The player will have to kill the pilot when they hop out in front of the player,

Defeating the pilot will allow the player to claim the Kymera Ray Gun in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.
