The Alien Prop Gun Could Bring A New Dynamic To Fortnite

Fortnite Season 7 has an interesting armory already. From the Pulse Rifle to the Kymera Ray Gun, these new weapons have redefined the weapon meta in the game.

That being said, there's a new weapon that is scheduled to arrive in the game. This weapon is known as the Prop Gun and could change the way loopers play Fortnite.

Everything we know about the Alien Prop Gun

According to a latest tweet by popular data miner iFireMonkey, this Alien Prop Gun lets you turn yourself into a prop. You actually get to select the prop you want to turn yourself into.

There's also a button that allows you to lock yourself into position. A moving trash can in Fortnite Season 7 could raise a lot of suspicion, so this button would really come in handy.

Given that the weapon is so powerful, there is a cooldown between two subsequent uses. We don't know how long this cooldown would last for, but I'm looking at a 30-second window.

That being said, this Alien Prop Gun brings back the prop disguises that we've seen since Fortnite Season 6. However, you don't need to visit any NPC in order to change yourself into a prop.

That being said, it'll also ping your location to nearby enemies for 30 seconds. iFiremonkey believes that your actual location wouldn't be revealed. However, enemy loopers will be able to hear a sound when they close in on your location.

If used properly, the Alien Prop Gun could lead to a victory royale without any major difficulties. You could set up ambush scenarios almost every time you use this gun.

Since this gun has such interesting abilities, I think Epic Games will be forced to remove it from Arena. Those who like to play Fortnite competitively, don't really like these weapons because they feel it's "unfair".

There's a chance that we may see the Alien Prop Gun in Fortnite after the Fortnite 17.20 update.
