Fortnite Quest: Blow up Fishing Spots at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks

Now it's time to blow up more fishing spots! Fortnite Season 5 Week 6 is already repeating itself!

Here's our guide for where to blow them up at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks. 

Where to Blow Up Fishing Spots

Fishing Spots spawn randomly in water, and thankfully these locations are all right by a water source!

The map above shows you where Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks can be found.

Lazy Lake and Steamy Stacks are on the map, though Lake Canoe isn’t, so now you know where to find it.

We’ll be honest, we aren’t super sure what ‘Lazy Lake Island’ is, but we’ll say it’s the marked location for now. When we know more we’ll update this guide!

How To Blow Up Fishing Spots

UPDATE

When trying out this challenge we noticed that its didn't always work. You may have to drive the boat onto land for it to count as being at the named POIs.

If the challenge appears in the top left of the screen then you are ina place that the explosion will count.

Look Out For 'Local Quests' to know if you are in the right spot!

Blowing Up means you’ll have to use explosives, we know that’s obvious

There are three tools that can have the desired effects: grenades, motorboats and rocket launchers.

Firing a rocket or dropping an explosive into the Fishing Spot show blow it up, causing materials, ammo and Small Fry to appear

Boats spawn near water, and one spawns at this location next to Steamy Stacks.

We also had luck at Lake Canoe! So try landing there

Grenades spawn randomly so we can’t help you out with that one and rocket launchers are a little harder to find.

In Solos, or any mode with NPCs, the best place to find one is by killing Ruckus.

Though he spawns near Slurpy Swamp which is a bit too far out of the way.

Once you’ve blown up all the fishing spots required, it’s time to move onto the next quest: Catch Fish.
