Benjy "Benjyfishy" David Fish is no stranger to the world of Fortnite esports. Playing for NRG Esports Europe and qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup, Benjyfishy has made a name for himself as a fearsome competitor in Fortnite.

However, it isn't Benjyfishy who's making the headlines this time, it's his mum. Anne "mamabenjyfishy" Fish has been streaming Fortnite on her Twitch channel for a while and has over 400,000 followers.

Additionally, she also puts out regular video highlights of her Fortnite games on Youtube where Mamabenjyfishy has over 150,000 subscribers. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, Mamabenjyfishy has been officially signed by an esports organization.

Let's dive in and check out everything about Mamabenjyfishy becoming a professional Fortnite player.

Mamabenjyfishy joins Galaxy Racer Esports

Mamabenjyfishy recently announced on Twitter that she has signed for Galaxy Racer Esports as a Fortnite content creator. Although she won't be participating in professional tournaments like her son Benjyfishy, Mamabenjyfishy will be making regular content for Galaxy Racer Esports.

Benjyfishy has a unique reaction to the entire scenario. He said,

"Yeah I mean it's pretty weird because obviously back in the day I always wanted to be a gamer, and the fact that my mum is now like technically a pro gamer or streamer is pretty sick."

Having said that, this is definitely one of the first times that something like this has happened in esports. Needless to say, events and scenarios like these only go to show how far the entire esports and gaming industry has advanced in the last two decades.
