The idea seeing Naruto in Fortnite is something that many people have held close to their hearts. Truth be told, the Naruto Fortnite skin is probably one of the most highly anticipated skins in the history of the game.
That being said, the arrival of the skin was met with a lot of ambiguity and a lot of hurdles. Initially, the Naruto Fortnite skin was scheduled to be in the Season 8 battle pass, but that didn't happen.
And for some reason, information about the skin kept drying up as the days progressed. However, thanks to the amazing set of data miners that we have, there is new information of the Naruto Fortnite skin.
These leaks have shed a new ray of light on this coveted skin.
Everything we know about the Naruto Fortnite skin
While leaking the files for the Fortnite 18.20 update, data miners stumbled across some really interesting information.
In the above mentioned update, a new NPC was added to the files. While this isn't that strange a feat in Fortnite, the codename for this NPC was rather interesting.
According to data miner Hypex, there is no other information about this NPC other than the name "headband". This has caused the community to go into a frenzy since Naruto does wear a headband.
Not only that, the full codename for this NPC is "HeadbandK" which has added fuel to the raging dumpster fire of Naruto speculations.
While this "K" could stand for anything from just a random alphabet to the chemical name of Potassium, fans believe that the K stands for Kurama.
Given that there isn't any other information about this particular NPC in question, it's slightly difficult to assume that this NPC would be Naruto.
It could be any random NPC in all honesty , and Naruto is as good as any other guess right now. Furthermore, there are rumors that the Naruto Fortnite skin would come as an NPC first and then go on to make an exclusive appearance in the Fortnite item shop.
That being said, it's about time we received the Naruto Fortnite skin. Epic Games has been teasing it for a good while now. And it would be really sad if it met the same fate as the Family Guy skin, that never made it's way to the Fortnite island.
What could be worse is the fact that the Fortnite Naruto skin turns out to be as disappointing as the Carnage skin. Yeah, that would be enough for the entire community to go mad. Let's just hope for the best and pray that the Naruto Fortnite skin is as good as we imagine it to be.
