The quirk factor in Fortnite has always made it stand out from the rest of the games within the same genre. That being said, we'll soon be seeing a new hiding spot in the game.
Hiding spots are important because the help you get a jump on your opponent at the most unexpected times. Some hiding spots like Port-a-potties help you traverse a short distance as well.
Here's what we know about the newest hiding spot in Fortnite Season 8.
When do coffins come to Fortnite Season 8?
According to popular Fortnite data miner iFireMonkey, Dusk will be getting a new set of questline challenges known as the Vampire DieAries.
As a part of this questline challenge, you will have to "sleep" in a coffin for 5 seconds. This challenge hasn't gone live yet, and will probably go live sometime in the future.
Expect the coffins to be added in Fortnite Season 8 as soon as this questline goes live. That being said, the arrival of this new hiding spot will mean that a lot of players will be gunning for it at the very beginning, so be wary of your surroundings.
While we don't have an estimated date of arrival for this feature, it's being assumed that the coffins will be here after Fortnitemares is over.
And it's highly likely that the coffins will be in game once the Cubes at the Convergence have formed a pyramid of sorts.
So let's just wait and watch when these find their way into the game.
Are you excited to become a vampire, even if it is for 5 seconds? Well I sure am. However, a part of me does wish that we had an extensive Vampire based questline like we had in Skyrim.
