Rideable animals have been on the cards in Fortnite for a while now. And recent leaks suggest that we may be seeing the same in Fortnite Season 8.

The current season in Fortnite received some minute changes in the game mechanics, and a new fauna has been introduced. Given the way Fortnite Season 8 is progressing, we may be in for some major changes in the upcoming days.

Everything we know about rideable animals in Fortnite Season 8

Popular Fortnite data miner Hypex had some interesting information about these rideable animals in Fortnite Season 8.

According to him, you won't be able to build or carry a player while riding an animal. Nor will you be able to shoot.

While that concludes the list of things you won't be able to do, here's what you will be able to do. If the animal you're riding is an aggressive animal, you will be able to make them attack the enemy.

This hints at something more interesting. As of now, the three animals that are there in the game are somewhat aggressive. So there's a chance that we will be seeing a diverse amount of fauna in the game as the days go by.

Interestingly enough, there's a small bit in the keybind menu in Fortnite as well that talks about riding abilities. Since this section already exists, we can say for sure that we will be seeing the arrival of rideable animals in Fortnite Season 8.

That being said, we're still not sure about the estimated time of arrival of this feature. Moreover, once this feature goes live, we will be seeing a new crafting recipe.

In order to ride these animals, you will need to have a saddle. And just like the hunters cloak back in Season 6, this will, in all probability, be a craftable item.
