Factions have not been that important in the long run when it comes to the Fortnite storyline. However, they've worked wonders in the short run. And we've gotten some back story about Midas thanks to his involvement with both these factions.
That being said, what's this new thing about factions that we keep hearing?
A new Fortnite faction comes to the island next season
Data miner Hypex was quick to talk about the upcoming Fortnite faction in one of his leaks. He went on to say that the NPCs and Bosses involved in this faction would be related to food.
Why they're related to food beats me completely. However, that does bring an interesting twist to the plot for next season.
For now, there's only one food truck asset in the files. Apart from that, there's a door too. It's a subtle throwback to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2. And that's all the information that we have about this new faction.
Why does it have to be related to food beats me but it sure is slightly funny. The current scenario in Fortnite is going grimmer by the moment. And it's these little moments that add a comic element to the storyline.
I would love to see Midas in a chefs hat, leading this new faction. But then again, we've got too many factions that Midas was a part of. I sure hope its someone else this time. Maybe a Chef Peely would do good.
