You Can Now Get Quests From Payphones In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7

It looks like Epic Games is giving the game a huge overhaul in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. From alien invasions to a modified look at the battle pass, this season has it all.

We're unsure if we'll still have any NPCs left on the island after the update. But we've found their replacement.

Data miners believe that we'll be able to acquire quests from payphones that are scattered all over the island.

How to acquire quests from payphones in Fortnite?

From whatever information we have now, it looks like we'll have to walk up to these payphones and interact with them, just as we did with the NPCs.

What we don't know is how many such payphones will be available on the island in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. Neither do we know if there will be any decoys.

Whatever it is, change is good. And it'll probably make things slightly easier in the game. Because payphones can't shoot back at you with a gun.

That being said, data miners also believe that the upgrade benches will be back. This further indicates that there's a possibility of all NPCs disappearing from the island.

You'll be able to spend gold to upgrade your weapons at these upgrade benches in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. Also, did anyone tell you that these upgrade benches could be used as wonderful ambush points?

Finally, you'll also be able to spend gold bars at vending machines. You'll probably be able to buy consumables from these vending machines in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

That being said, the list of consumables may have a few entries added to it after the Fortnite v17.00 update. Milk is one of them for sure, as seen in one of the teasers. The regular foragable items will also make a return hopefully. I'm curious about the new consumables they'll be adding this season.
