Where To Find I.O. Guards In Fortnite

The I.O. guards have returned to Fortnite yet again. They're still angry and trigger happy. Well maybe not trigger happy, but they're angry yes.

And these bad boys hit really hard when it comes to shooting at you. In order to complete this Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Week 2 quest, you'll need to damage an I.O. guard.

While damaging these guards are fairly simple, finding them can be slightly tricky.

Where to find I.O. guards in Fortnite?

There are approximately 7 I.O. outposts in Fortnite right now. The locations of those bases are given in the map below. You'll always find I.O. guards at these locations.

Other than that, I've encountered I.O. guards at Steamy Stacks as well. They can also be found guarding UFO spawn sites in Fortnite. I'm not sure if they spawn anywhere else on the map, but they spawn at the places I've mentioned.

These I.O. guards always come in groups of threes. If there's a "?" symbol above their heads, you'll know that they're looking for suspicious activity. If there's a "!" symbol, they've spotted you and they'll shoot back at you.

In order to deal damage, you'd want to get some distance between you and the guards. An Assault Rifle or a Sniper Rifle are your best pals here. You could get up close and personal with a Shotgun too.

Either way, once you've dealt damage, you'll complete the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Week 2 quest. But don't stop there. Make sure you've eliminated the guards completely.

That way you get your hands on some quality loot. There's always a chance that these I.O. guards will end up dropping a Pulse Rifle of Epic Rarity. And you wouldn't want to miss out on that.
