Where to break fishing barrels and more in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7

With the Fortnite v17.00 update, the week 1 quests have also gone live. These challenges are pretty simple, and focus on island exploration.

Although the exploration part isn't explicitly mentioned in these quests, you'll actually have to go around the map in order to finish these challenges.

The quests for this week are currently live, and new quests arrive every Tuesday at around 3pm BST.

• Destroy Fishing Barrels
• Land at Coral Castle
• Sniper Rifle eliminations

How to complete these Fortnite Season 7 Week 1 uncommon quests

For the first Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 week 1 quest, you need to break fishing barrels. Fishing barrels aren't that difficult to find.

All you need to do is, land at Coral Castle first. When you do that, you'll end up completing a quest that requires you to land at Coral Castle in Fortnite.

You loot a few chests here and then make your way to Believer Beach. Once you're at the pier on Believer Beach, you'll find two barrels here.

One barrel is behind the restaurant, while the other barrel can be found on the stretch of the pier itself, somewhere near the benches. There should be a third barrel here too, but I couldn't find it.

If you don't find three barrels here, you can make your way to any rivulet on the island. If you walk along the banks of these rivulets, you're bound to come across a barrel or two. Break those and you're done with this quest as well.

While you're at it, you might also want to loot the chests for weapons. If the RNG gods are in your favor, you'll be able to bag a sniper rifle as well. All you need to do is scope in and take out a player. And you're done with the third Fortnite Week 1 quest too.

The fact that you can land at one location and complete these three quests at the same time makes these quests pretty easy to complete. Not only that, it'll also give you a head start on leveling up that battle pass of yours.

They've changed the battle pass mechanic this time. Everytime you level up, you earn battle stars. And you use these battle stars to unlock the cosmetics.
