Since Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 revolves around aliens, the presence of some futuristic weapons is only natural.
Although some of these weapons aren't here yet, they're going to be in shortly. Some of these weapons, as spotted in the trailer, are pretty over powered.
What are these new weapons?
Firstly, there's this Cowinator that we see Rick Sanchez using in the Fortnite trailer. You can use this weapon to pick up and drop items (yes cars too), wherever you want.
This weapon is pretty much like the one we have on the UFOs. If we're to follow the lore, then the I.O. will probably reverse engineer this weapon from one of the UFOs in Fortnite.
The other weapon in question is the Plasma Shotgun. Honestly, this looks way cool to be a shotgun. Personally, I'd like to call this the "Pew Pew Vaporizer." As seen in the trailer, this shoots a ray of plasma, vaporizing anything and everything in it's path. I can't wait to get my hands on this one.
And finally, it's the Gravity Cube. This is a throwable item, and it can probably reverse gravity. Fortnite data miner Hypex says that this weapon does a lot of interesting things. We'll have to figure out it's true potential once it goes live in the game.
Honestly, I feel Rick was tinkering around with a Rubik's Cube and ended up making this Gravity Cube for himself. Too bad he couldn't test it out on Morty. But that's okay, we'll test it out for him once it's out.
Over all, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 has just gone live. You shouldn't be expecting any storyline changes just yet. But things will start happening on the island very soon.
That being said, is it just me or did everyone notice that we didn't have an event at the end of Season 6? We didn't have one before this season went live either. Did Epic Games forget about these events altogether? Or do they have a trick up their sleeve?
Well, at least we get to hunt aliens this season, so that's a bonus! We'll worry about events (or the lack of them) later on!
