Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Map: New Map, New POIs, Old Map, and More News Around Season 16

The current season of Fortnite is slowly winding down.

Now, players are looking ahead to what Season 16 or Chapter 2 Season 6 is going to have in store for us.

Like any season, there are bound to be some amazing map changes in store for us.

Here is all we know about the new map for Chapter 2 Season 6!

Old Map

Ever since the release of Chapter 2, there has been a strong notion that we may return to the old map one day.

The implementation of Tilted Towers this season was a beloved change, but players are still wanting to go back to the classic map.

If Epic was to bring back the old Fortnite map, we could see them implementing some sort of game mode or split season similar to Apex Legends.

Where players are able to choose which map they play for a limited time, or they even split the season up between the two maps.

New POIs

With the release of any new season, there is an ample amount of map changes to look out for.

We will have to wait and see what changes Epic makes this coming season, but if we were to guess; expect changes to the following locations:

  • Center Map
  • Misty Meadows
  • Lazy Lake
  • Sweaty Sands
  • Steamy Stacks

The center of the map currently has the Zero Point exposed, so we can expect something massive to happened during the season-ending event.

As for the other locations, they have remained unchanged since Chapter 2 released, so changes are due it seems.

Leaks and Rumors

As of now, we do not have any leaks or rumors to go off of for the new season.

However, in the coming weeks, we can expect a flurry of leaks to come as the season start date nears.
