How To Craft And Upgrade Weapons In Fortnite Season 7

Fortnite Season 7 will continue to use the crafting mechanic that was first introduced in Season 6.

This new mechanic allowed players to upgrade their weapons on the fly.

It's a nice way to get everyone on a more even footing rather than the luck of the draw or needing to speak to NPCs.

How To Craft Weapons In Fortnite Season 7

Weapons in Fortnite require items to craft them - similar to how upgrading worked in past seasons.

You can now craft what you want!

But, these items are more specific including things like animal bones, grenades and weapons that will create stronger weapons.

You will gain crafting materials from hunting wildlife, eliminating players, scrapping vehicles and purchasing it from NPCs.

You can use these materials to upgrade your weapons, but they require specific recipes to do so.

Open up the crafting tab, which is located next to the Inventory tab, then you'll be able to craft weapons.

Last season, there was a total of 14 Primal and Mechanical weapons; this also includes a "Makeshift" category.
