Along with the new weapons, rumours are suggesting that some vaulted weapons will also be re-appearing.

Check out all the weapons expected to release with season two and everything that we have learned about the new and returning weapons for season two ofFortnite Chapter 2!

New Weapons

While we can't confirm this one yet, there have been several rumours and leaks in the run-up to the launch of season two. The one that has been consistent on all fronts, however, is the rumoured introduction of a brand-new sub-machine gun (SMG) that boasts an extremely fast rate of fire.

Allegedly known as the Rapid-Fire SMG, there will be an uncommon and a rare version of the weapon which looks to add some variety into the close-range metagame.

Returning Weapons

Ready to bring the walls down? Dynamite is back, for the first time since June 2019! Ideal for taking down sizable structures with ease, dynamite looks like it could be a welcome addition for countering a proficient builder.

Whether it will replace the Rocket Launcher as the go-to destroyer of structures is yet to be seen but expect it to be used in abundance now that the new Season has begun.

Alongside the likely return of dynamite, it is likely that we will see a vaulted weapon re-released for a day and see whether it has a place in the game. The recent Winterfest event saw a vaulted weapon added back into the game and with so many weapons locked away in the vault, it would be fun to see some of the old weapons back into the games.

During Winterfest, the weapons that appeared included:

  • Heavy Sniper
  • Double Barrel
  • Drum Gun
  • Flint-Knock Pistol
  • Stink Bombs
  • Infantry Rifle
  • Dual Pistols
  • Tac SMG
  • Shockwave Grenades
  • Drum Shotgun
  • Boom Bow
  • Hand Cannon
  • Suppressed SMG
  • Boogie Bomb

It will be interesting to see if any of these weapons make an appearance and how they affect the current metagame. Only time will tell as to whether any of those weapons make a permanent return into the game, and we'll update these if we spot any!
