Epic Games have announced the return of the Fortnite Winter Royale 2019, a series of Duo tournaments, that will be held in December.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 was extended into February, with Chapter 2 Season 2 not arriving until February 2020.

The event will take place on the 20th-22nd of December 2019.
This will feature three different duo tournaments on three different days, with a $5million prize pool for each.
All severs regions will take part in a platform-specific competition, open to players of any rank.
In total, there is $15million to be distributed over three days.
The prize breakdowns are yet to be revealed
The rules for the Winter Royale 2019 are yet to be revealed but should be announced nearer the time of the tournaments.

Twitch Account Drops & Streams
You can earn Twitch drops during this event by linking your Epic account with your Twitch account here.
You’ll see an option to connect your accounts. Clicking that will ask you to log in to Twitch, after which you’re all set.
When your account is linked, you will be able to tell you are watching a drops-enabled channel when you see this notification.
If the notification says that you are not linked, simply hit the text to be taken to linking page listed above.
