When Can We Expect The Fortnite 17.20 Update?

Epic Games usually releases updates for Fortnite every alternate Tuesday. Going by that logic, the entire community waited eagerly for the Fortnite 17.20 update.

However, much to their disappointment, there was no Fortnite update today. Usually, there's a small tweet on the Fortnite Status twitter page, listing out the downtime for the same. But the absence of such a tweet today made people wonder about the update.

When will the Fortnite 17.20 update go live?

According to Fortnite data miner XTigerHyperX, Epic Games is on a summer break. They went on a beak on June 27th and are expected to be on a break for the next two weeks.

Going by those numbers, we can assume that the Fortnite 17.20 update will go live on July 20th. That being said, despite of the fact that the developers are on a vacation, we still received some minor content.

We're all set to see Coral Castle go up in smoke after the update today!

Fortnite also sent out a very cryptic tweet a few hours back. They mentioned that there were a huge number of alien ground troops mobilizing towards the west.

We're not sure what that means, but maybe we'll have a full blown war on our hands soon.

Not only that, we have confirmation that the next Fortnite Icon Series Skin will be LeBron James. All this will probably go live with the Fortnite 17.20 update.

To sum it all up, despite the absence of any major Fortnite update today, we'll probably be seeing Holly Hedges turn into Holly Hatchery. And that's pretty much it for this week. Everything else that we've talked about will have to wait till July 20th.
