This article contains spoilers for the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic.

The hardest part about a comic is saying goodbye at the end, and the Fortnite bout with Batman is no different. Sure, those same characters appear in other comics, but those have different focuses and typically do not reference each other. The Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic is not one that can be matched anytime soon.

This comic was one of a kind. Still, there is one way that we can still see this adventure again: a sequel comic. Based on an interview with the artist and author, it seems like a sequel is already in the works.

Batman/Fortnite comic writer will not deny a sequel is in the works

Initially, the batman/Fortnite comic just contained things to the island, but it seems like Fortnite will have more of an influence inside of DC. The Fortnite island was also shown to be linked to the DC Universe employing a zero-point anchor, so a crossover is possible at any time.

A rift appears over the Daily Planet as the last issue ends, perhaps hinting that Superman will appear later in the season or in another comic. Artist Reilly Brown and writer Christos Gage were asked to elaborate on the tease at the end of the comic about a sequel.

Here's what Christos Gage said:

"Hmm, that's an interesting question, I don't know if I'm allowed to say, but, probably."

If there were no plans at all for a sequel, the answer would have been a lot easier to say. The fact that there is a "probably" shows that there are plans there.

Now we wonder how the sequel will come about? Will it be in a comic book, Fortnite's YouTube animations, or both? Fortnite Season 7 is still a long way from being over, so DC might be able to start a new series before fans lose interest.
