Football Manager 2020's release date is set for the 19th November 2019 and will arrive on a number of different platforms. However, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles will likely miss out on the party, unsurprisingly. It is worth noting that the game is available on the Xbox Game Pass for PC, but not the Xbox One.

Platforms

This year Football Manager will release on the Google Stadia, along with the traditional platforms including PC, Android, iOS, macOS and Nintendo Switch. We've also not seen it on a PlayStation device since 2014 on the PlayStation Vita.

Football Manager 2020 Releasing On Xbox Game Pass?

One of the biggest announcements that was recently made was that FM19 will be released on Xbox Game Pass, which is currently available on Xbox One and PC. However, that doesn't mean that Football Manager 2020 will arrive on Xbox One. With FM19 releasing on PC, it is likely we will see FM20 follow suit later on in the year. It seems like a simple enough transition to appear on Xbox, but it's unlikely we will see it at launch or soon after. That's not to say that it's off the table, Football Manager 2018 didn't make its debut on the Nintendo Switch until April 2018.

But we do need to remember that earlier in October, Miles Jacobson (director of Football Manager at Sports Interactive) tweeted claiming there are no plans for the game to appear on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
