Fans of classic Final Fantasy got their hands on Final Fantasy 4 Pixel Remaster in September, and we don't have long to wait for the next one. Final Fantasy 5 Pixel Remaster releases November 10 on Steam and mobile devices.
That leaves just one retro Final Fantasy game left in the Pixel Remaster series, Final Fantasy 6. In keeping with previous Pixel Remaster releases, Square Enix hasn't said when to expect FF 6's remaster.
Also in keeping with previous releases, this version is based on the original Final Fantasy 5 from the early 1990s. It doesn't include any of the features added in the Game Boy Advance remake.

Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster Release Date
Final Fantasy 5 plays like an enhanced version of Final Fantasy 3. There's a more developed narrative, but the job system is its main focus.
Here's the game's Steam description:
The King of Tycoon has sensed a disturbance in the wind. When the crystals that balance the powers of the world are threatened, the king hastens to the rescue...only to go missing. Somewhere a young man and his Chocobo find themselves drawn toward friends that will change their destiny.
Building on the job systems of previous games, FFV includes a diverse selection of jobs to try, and a unique ability system that lets you combine skills.
Develop your characters with free reign, and master your battle tactics in the fifth installment of the FINAL FANTASY series!
