Final Fantasy XIV's Getting A Cookbook Later This Year

While fans patiently await the Endwalker expansion on November 23 2021, a recipe book based on Final Fantasy XIV's culinary experiences is expected to arrive two weeks earlier. However, that remains formally unconfirmed by Square Enix at this time.

Initially seen by Wario64 on the Simon & Schuster website, that originally appeared as "The Ultimate Final Fantasy 14 Cookbook" before being hastily renamed to "Licensed Video Game Cookbook". Furthermore, Wario64 noted that another retail listing with similar details also appeared on Amazon.

Delivering a "culinary adventure through one of gaming's most beloved franchises", this book is said to offer "stunning photography and step-by-step instructions", helping Final Fantasy 14 fans recreate the game's most iconic dishes. More specifically, that deleted listing stated:

Featuring favourite flavours from across Hydaelyn and Norvrandt and easy-to-follow instructions, this tome provides numerous tips on how to make the most of your ingredients. Start your day with Farmer's breakfast, a very famous and simple-yet-delightful dish; savour the Knight's Bread of Coerthas; dive into La Noscea's Rolanberry Cheesecake, and many more.

Judging by the listing details, FFXIV producer Naoki Yoshida is penning the book’s foreword and this 192 page hardcover features over 70 recipes. That's being published through Insight Editions for release on November 9, 2021. Retailing for $35, you can pre-order it now.
