Final Fantasy XIV Guide - All Saints' Wake Seasonal Event

Final Fantasy XIV has a variety of Seasonal Events that reward players with valuable items such as Clothing, Mounts, Minions, and more. One of those seasonal Events it’s the All Saints' Wake, a Halloween celebration that gathers players to embark on an adventure and rewards them with Halloween-themed clothing and items.

Since this seasonal event changes its rewards, related quests, and achievements every year, it’s hard to predict exactly how it will go if it returns this year, but the event per se works pretty much in the same way. While last year’s edition didn’t happen, here’s to hoping it comes back in 2021!

FFXIV All Saints' Wake - What’s the event about?

Each year, the Twelve honor the saints by inviting them to the celestial realm for a feast. However, in ascending to the heavens they leave the mortal realm bereft of their divine protection, so during this time, creatures of darkness come out from hiding to wreak havoc. Fearing for their safety on this grim night, Eorzea’s people return home before sunset and barricades themselves indoors until dawn arrives.

Adventurers, however, are not easily scared by the threat of the chaotic creatures causing trouble on the night of All Saints' Wake. These brave warriors of light stand their ground against all who would threaten Eorzea's folks, and word of their efforts would make the townsfolk feels safer and braver as years went by. In time, the people's concerns were laid to rest, and they learned to celebrate the Saints' ascension to the heavens, rather than fear their absence, thus making All Saints' Wake flourish into an annual tradition, now celebrated throughout Eorzea.

This year's All Saints' Wake has been moved to 2022, due to Endwalker's release date being delayed. Keep an eye on our page for future updates!
