Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker has just been given its release date, November 23, 2021, with the expansion set to release simultaneously on PS5, PS4, and PC.
The announcement was made at yesterday's Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Festival for 2021, and Square Enix unveiled a host of information about the upcoming content.
To kick things off, Square Enix announced a bunch of new details about Endwalker, including the Reaper Job, the Male Viera playable race, and the new city of Old Sharlayan. Endwalker will also include the new expansive areas of Labyrinthos and Mare Lamentorum, alongside the new Tribe of Loporrits and threats, The Magnus Sisters.
Oceania will also be getting its own data centre, ensuring players from that region get a much smoother experience.
Details about the Special Editions of the expansion have also been unveiled properly. A Collector's Box will be available to order as a standalone item, offering the following goodies:
- Endwalker Special Art Box
- Paladin Figure
- Art Collection and Frame Set
- Azem Pin
- Loporrit Mini Plush
A Digital Collector's Edition will also be available offering three exclusive in-game items: the Arion Mount, the Wind-up Porom Minion, and the Death Scythe Reaper Weapon.
In addition to all of that, anyone who pre-orders any version of the expansion will get the Wind-up Palom Minion and Menphina Earring in-game items. Pre-orders will also get early access to the expansion, beginning on November 19, 2021, at 9:00 am GMT/1:00 a.m. PT.
