Final Fantasy VII Remake had a lot of fans worried that the sexy graphics and combat would lead to a game that takes itself too seriously, but thanks to a number of mini-games and that legendary Honey Bee Inn scene, fans know that isn’t the case.

How To Beat The Whack-A-Box Mini-Game In Final Fantasy 7 Remake

One mini-game in Final Fantasy VII Remake that utilizes combat in the silliest way possible is the Whack-A-Box mini-game that players can take part in during Cloud’s chapter with Aerith.

While this might seem fairly simple at first, smash all the boxes to win and all that, players will realize that they can’t just mindlessly button mash so they can get 30,000 points, forcing them to think of which boxes to whack.

If you want to get 30,000 points to get the Spectral Cogwheel in Final Fantasy VII Remake, follow the next few steps.

Use Cloud and give him the Spiked Bat as the combos with that will lead to you breaking some of the tougher boxes better.

Breaking the 1,500 point boxes should be your priority and doing so with the Spiked Bat will ensure that you’ll get to finish this easily.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available on the PS4, with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade coming to the PS5 on June 10.
