Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade To Release Free DLC For PS5 Players

In anticipation of the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on the PlayStation 5, Square Enix offers a new DLC pack for the RPG. Players will have the chance to redeem a summon materia DLC pack upon the game's release on PS5, which features iconic Final Fantasy creatures such as Chocobo Chicks, Cactuars, and Carbuncles. This is an exciting way to market a new game.

Players who could not get these items during their first playthrough on the PS4 will appreciate this addition to their in-game materia collections. Players will not only be able to continue from where they left off but their summoning power will also be boosted. Square Enix made this announcement recently as they told Final Fantasy players that they can now transfer their save files from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade is a great way to market the PS5

Those who have played Final Fantasy 7 Remake will recall that these specific summoning materials were part of pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses. These summon materials were created especially for the RPG remake and weren't in the original Final Fantasy 7 PlayStation game.

In other words, hardcore fans who are also completionists are more likely to have shelled out the extra cash to acquire these. On Twitter, the team announced that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Item Pack would feature three summoning articles featuring the cute Chocobo Chick, the fan-favorite enemy Cactuar, and the reflective Carbuncle will be free for PS5.

On June 10, 2021, Intergrade will release the item bundle with five extra downloadable accessories. Those who redeem the free upgrade to PS5 will still need to download and install the DLC if they already own these items during their PlayStation 5 run-through. It does seem unfair for the PS4 version not to receive these unless they paid for it, but that's just how it is.

The exclusive Episode Yuffie DLC, PS4 to PS5 save file update, and free summon materia bundle are just some of the things Square Enix has done to make people want a PS5. With the release date drawing nearer, we hope to learn more about how the developers enhanced and optimized the game for the next-generation platform.

The PlayStation 5 will receive Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Episode Yuffie DLC on June 10.
