FIFA 22 Ratings Collective: Top 5 Goalkeepers Confirmed

The FIFA 22 ratings have been offically released this afternoon, with Lionel Messi taking the top spot.

But as important as those attackers are, you won't get far without a top tier goalkeeper between your sticks, but who will be the stoppers to look out for?

Jan Oblak (91 OVR)

Jan Oblak was the top-rated keeper in FIFA 21 and he has retained his position at the top of the leaderboards for the upcoming release.

In fact, there has been no change whatsoever to the in-game stats of the Slovenian veteran, who will provide formidable opposition for any attack come October 1st.

Manuel Neuer (90 OVR)

Manuel Neuer's mini resurgance continued last season, with the German's season culminating in a starting role at Euro 2020.

His form for club and country has earnt him an upgrade from an 89 OVR to a 90 OVR, enough to hand him a spot in the top five rated goalkeepers this year.

Ter Stegen (90 OVR)

The battle for the number one jersey for Germany was won by Manuel Neuer, though the two have come out on a level playing field in the battle to be named the best German goalkeeper in FIFA 22.

Ter Stegen has retained his 90 OVR from FIFA 21 and, as seen with Jan Oblak, there has been no change to his in-game stats.

Gianluggi Donnarumma (89 OVR)

One of the most significant upgrades in FIFA 22 has gone the way of PSG newbie, Gianluggi Donnarumma.

The Euro 2020 Player of the Tournament has seen his rating upgraded from an 85 OVR to an 89 OVR, making him the top-rated goalkeeper in Ligue 1 this season.

Ederson (89 OVR)

And finally, making up the top 5 is Manchester City's Ederson Morales.

The Brazilian picked up a second consecutive Premier League Golden Glove award last season before narrowly edging out Liverpool's Alisson for the number one spot for his country at the Copa America. An upgrade to an 89 OVR is his reward.
