FIFA 22 LaLiga POTM: October Shortlist Revealed

The LaLiga table is starting to take shape, with Real Sociedad the surprise leaders after 10 rounds of fixtures.

Real Madrid follow in a close second, with Sevilla and Atletico Madrid making up the top four.

There have been some huge individual performances throughout the course of October, with EA Sports drawing up a seven man shortlist of the best performers over the last 30 days.

LaLiga October POTM Shortlist

The voting is now open, with one of the following seven players set to receive an upgraded Player of the Month card in FIFA 22 over the coming weeks.

Luis Suarez

The biggest name on the list as far as ratings are concerned is Atletico Madrid forward, Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan has continued to defy his doubters with match winning performances in Madrid, scoring three times in two games during October.

David Alaba

Next up we have Real Madrid newbie, David Alaba.

The Swiss international has impressed during his short stint at Real so far, grabbing his first goal for the club during their El Classico triumph at the Camp Nou last weekend.

As far as performances are concerned, few can claim to have been more prolific than Raul de Tomas throughout October.

The Espanyol striker has scored four in his last four, picking up 8 points for his side in the process.

Representing the league leaders in this months shortlist is centre back, Robin Le Normand.

Le Normand has been a mainstay at the heart of the Sociedad back four, as they kept their impressive defensive record in tact.

Sevilla are staking their claim for a Champions League spot next season in impressive fashion.

Rafa Mir has been a key part of that, scoring twice in three games as Sevilla picked up six points from a possible nine.

Rodri Sanchez

Real Betis are in and amongst the leader in Spain, sitting fifth after 10 games.

Despite being a relatively unknown entity, Rodri Sanchez has impressed for Betis during October, earning himself a first POTM nomination in the process.

Sanchez has played a starring role in an unbeaten month for Osasuna, grabbing a last minute winner at Rayo Vallecano in the process.
