The first leg of the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team year has been a success so far.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and that is the case for Season 1 of FUT, which will end later this week.
It's not all bad news though, as Season 2 is waiting in the wings to take its place. Here is everything that we know so far.
Season 2 Start Date
Season 2 of FIFA Ultimate Team will begin later this week.
The Season 1 fun will end on Thursday, November 11th, giving you just 48 hours to work your way through the remaining rewards that are on offer.
You won't have to wait long to get stuck into a new set though, with the Season 2 release coming just hours later, at 8AM GMT on Friday, November 12th.
Season 2 Objectives
As always, the release will be accompanied by a range of new objectives to get stuck into in order to unlock some tasty rewards.
There will be 30 levels to work through, with a host of different rewards up for grabs each time you achieve a new ranking.
We will update this section of the article with all the key objectives as soon as Season 2 lands in FIFA 22's Ultimate Team.
Season 2 Rewards
Now for the big question, what will be on offer for those who get stuck into all that Season 2 has to offer?
The main reward on offer is almost certainly going to be another Storyline Player.
Usually EA release two batches of Storyline Players per release, but they opted for just the one set in Season 1, with three cards available for selection at Level 30.
With the game now in full swing, we are expecting to see EA revert back to their old ways, with one selection available at Level 15, with the main pick coming at Level 30.
If recent releases are anything to go by, it is likely that we will see three lesser used leagues at Level 15, with three of the more favourable leagues arriving for those who graft their way through the full list of objectives.
We're also anticipating the return of the League Objectives cards in Season 2.
We haven't seen them feature in FIFA since Season 5 of FIFA 21, but recent rumours on social media suggest that they have been added to the FIFA 22 database for release soon.
We can expect to see any League Objectives arrivals come in an 85-86 OVR.
The ICON content has started to arrive in FIFA 22, which has got fans excited for a potential ICON Swaps return.
Swaps allows players the opportunity to pick up some ICON-related rewards for free, including player picks, packs and even individual ICONs themselves.
Now we don't want to spoil the excitement, but it seems highly unlikely to suggest that EA would be offering a free ICON to the community this side of the FIFA year.
We'd love to see Swaps implemented, but we aren't expecting it just yet.
