It's official. FUT Heroes are heading to FIFA 22!
EA revealed the news as part of their official reveal trailer launch, with the first crop of Heroes also revealed.

What are FUT Heroes?
Similar to the ICONs seen in years gone by, FUT Heroes is a set of cards dedicated to some of football's most memorable players.
The players who feature have been at the centre of some unforgettable moments in footballing history that turned them into fan favourites.
Unlike ICONs, the FUT Heroes will be attributed to the league in which they became a fan favourite, but there is a brand new league-specific chemistry link that compliments the cards.
Strong Links
Each of the FUT Heroes will come with unique league-specific chemistry that will provide them with a green Club link to any player within their league, regardless of club or nation.
Nation links will still work in the same way, with a medium link between any FUT Hero and their national compatriots.

The first 19 FUT Heroes have been officially confirmed, and they are as follows:
