FIFA 22: Pro Clubs To Feature Female Players For the First Time

There's expected to be plenty of big changes in FIFA 22, and it looks as though one of biggest will come in Pro Clubs.

Female football was added to FIFA back in FIFA 16, with a host of international sides featuring within the kick-off mode.

Many hoped that would be the start of big things for the female footballing world, but unfortunately there was little more to come.

But it looks as though that could be set to change in FIFA 22.

Female Pro Clubs

Pro Clubs fans have been calling for improvements to the sociable game mode for the past few years, and it looks as though we may have discovered our first.

Reputable FIFA source @UltimateTeamUK have reported that FIFA 22 Pro Clubs will let you create either a male or a female player.

This would be the first time in FIFA history that female players have featured outside of the kick-off mode, which is a significant moment as female football continues to grow in popularity.

Could we see FIFA fans get in the Women's European Championship spirit ahead of next summers international competition? Only time will tell.

EA Play Live

The news surrounding female players joining the Pro Clubs mode is expected to be officially confirmed later this month, with EA Play Live the perfect place for their producers to do so.

The annual EA event will take place this Thursday (July 22nd) with FIFA 22 high on the list of importance.

Pro Clubs fanatics will be hoping for plenty of news surrounding the mode, which has been left somewhat redundant for the last couple of years. Could this announcement be the first of many for the long-time favourite?
