Lead Commentators Revealed

EA opted for the pairing of Derek Rae and Lee Dixon to take over from long term commentary team Martin Tyler and Alan Smith ahead of the release of FIFA 21.

But whilst Rae will continue in his role in FIFA 22, there will be no room for the former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon in the commentary booth.

ESPN's Stewart Robson will pair up with Rae to form what looks to be a formidable commentary duo.

No More McInally

Robson isn't the only new voice heading to the commentary team this year.

Fans of Career Mode will be very familiar with the Scottish tones of Alan McInally, who has provided in-game updates from across the leagues in years gone by.

However that won't be the case in FIFA 22, with former Arsenal Ladies captain Alex Scott taking over the role.

Scott has been praised for her impeccable punditry in recent seasons and is sure to be a welcome addition to the FIFA team.
