Bayern Munich and Canada fullback Alphonso Davies has taken to social media to reveal that he will be joining the FIFA family as a global ambassador ahead of this years release.

Davies is one of the most popular figures in world football, thanks to his energetic personality both on and off the pitch.
The Canadian youngster has a hefty following across all of his social media platforms, including TikTok, where he has amassed over 4M followers and accumulated over 65M likes.
With that in mind, EA have acted quickly to snap Davies up as one of their Global Ambassadors for FIFA 22, which means that Davies is likely to feature in a range of commercial work with EA Sports over the next 12 months.
A New Era
Davies is the first official ambassador confirmed for FIFA 22, joining the likes of Mason Mount, Phil Foden and Georgia Stanway, who are all members of the FIFA Next family.
It spells the start of a new era ahead of the release of FIFA 22, one which Davies himself cannot wait to be involved in.
Davies is expected to be one of the most highly sought after fullbacks in FIFA 22 thanks to his electric pace, but the question is, will the Canadian be picking himself for his FUT?

Davies' FIFA 22 rating hasn't been officially revealed yet, but that won't stop us from looking at a hypothetical FUT card.
We're expecting to see Davies recieve yet another upgrade to his base rating, with an 83 OVR about right for the Bayern man.
