And that spells good news for those who completed the Marcos Alonso SBC, with the Spaniard set to jump up to a 91 OVR in the coming days!

Dates

The two SBC's went live in FUT on Saturday, May 1st and will expire on Wednesday, May 5th prior to kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

Ratings & Upgrades

Both Alonso and Diaz have seen significant upgrades to their base cards, with the two both coming in at an 89 OVR ahead of the game. Alonso has also seen a position change from LB to LM.

The upgrades will be settled on the result of the match on the night, not who progresses.

This means that if either side win at Stamford Bridge, the respective player will be upgraded to a 91 OVR. Should the sides draw in 90 minutes, then it'll be +1 to both.

Costs

The estimated costs for both are virtually identical.

Either Alonso or Diaz will set you back 140,000 coins on PlayStation, 140,000 coins on Xbox and 165,000 coins on PC.

You can opt to complete both if you so desire.

Predictions

This is arguably the toughest Showdown SBC that there has been.

A 1-1 draw in the first leg means that it is all to play for, though Real know that they have to come and score if they are to have any chance of progressing, so expect an attacking lineup from Zindane.

Chelsea have been in fine form since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, and the home advantage should be a huge help to the Premier League side, though if anyone knows how to get the job done in the UCL, it's Real Madrid.

We forsee a tight affair with chances at a premium, a draw on the night is what we're going to opt for, with the potential for extra time and penalties a real possibility.

Expect both cards to recieve a 90-rated upgrade.

Who to Complete

We won't lie, neither card is really taking our fancy.

The position change for Alonso is nice, with the option to play him at centre midfield on 7 chemistry probably your best bet should you complete him. Though his 3*/3* is way below the par at this stage of the game.

Mariano on the other hand looks a nice striker to have in your LaLiga setup, with his heavily boosted physiciality ratings a huge plus. But again, his 3* skills just aren't great for the end game meta.

With neither card a shoo-in for an upgrade, and a host of similar rated Team of the Season cards dropping at a lower price, we think we'll give this one a miss.
