It's a return for domestic action for Real Madrid this week, and a return to Showdown action too!

Rodrygo represents Los Blancos as they take on Sevilla and Luuk De Jong in a crucial LaLiga clash.

The game has come to its conclusion, but who came out on top?

Here is everything that you need to know.

Latest News - Upgrades Shared!

Real Madrid and Sevilla's LaLiga clash has come to an end, with the points shared after a thrilling 2-2 draw.

Sevilla and Luuk De Jong looked to be on their way to a crucial victory until Eden Hazard stepped up with a 94th minute equaliser to ensure the points were shared.

That means the upgrades will be shared too, with both players overalls upgraded by one rating later this week,

Dates

The two SBC's went live in FIFA 21's Ultimate Team on Friday, May 7th and will remain in game for just two days before expiring at 6pm GMT on Sunday, May 9th.

Ratings & Upgrades

Rodrygo will begin his Showdown quest as an 89 OVR, whilst Luuk de Jong comes in one rating higher as a 90-rated striker.

As per the rules of the Showdown SBC, the player from the winning side will see their card upgraded by two ratings, whilst a draw would result in a +1 to both of the contenders.

Costs

The Rodrygo SBC will set you back between 165,000 coins and 205,000 coins depending on your platform.

The Luuk de Jong SBC will come in slightly cheaper, setting you back between 120,000 coins and 145,000 coins depending on your platform.

You aren't limited to one or the other either, so feel free to complete both should you wish.

Predictions

It's a crucial game at a crucial point in the season.

Whilst Real Madrid are the side with the higher pedigree, they are just four points ahead of their rivals, with a host of injuries to contend with too.

Sevilla have overachieved massively this season, securing themselves a place in the Champions League for the 2021/22 campaign, with an outsiders shot of picking up the league title too.

However, despite their injury troubles, Real Madrid have the home advantage and will be looking to bounce back after UCL heartbreak in the week, and we're tipping them to do exactly that.

Rodrygo should be picking up that upgrade come Sunday evening.

Who to Complete

Neither of this cards are massively appealing, though Rodrygo would the one to take if you're going to complete either.

The Brazilian winger is a super meta player, with near maxed out agility and balance, which will only get better with the expected upgrade.

His passing (85 OVR) isn't amazing for this stage of FIFA though, nor is his 3* weak foot. But for the asking price we can't complain too much.

Luuk de Jong has a nice card on paper, but it's not one that we'll be looking to invest in with a host of cheap strikers available through the TOTS promotion.

Rodrygo or bust.
