FIFA 21: How To Do A Chip/Lobbed Shot

With some FUT challenges requiring players to score these, it's worth getting to know.

In many ways, it's best to make sure you have a particularly deadly finisher attempting it.

If it goes wrong, not only can it leave you scooping the ball over the bar, but it can also make you look a bit silly.

While it's easy to do, control-wise at least, it's something that takes practice to master.

To pull it off, simply press the L1 or LB button on your controller and then the shoot button (by default, that's Circle on PlayStation and B on Xbox controllers).

Hold the buttons longer to send the ball higher, if you dare.

Try doing it once a keeper is off their line, or wait until the moment they go to ground to subtly lift the ball over them.

You can also use this when taking a penalty to pull off the Panenka - a lobbed effort.
