FIFA 21: FUT Birthday Team 2 Predictions

share to other networks share to twitter share to facebook

The FUT Birthday promotion has been a huge success so far, and it's only going to get better!

Team 2 will be arriving this Friday, and we're expecting it to be littered with global stars once more.

Here is who we are hoping to see when the second batch of FUT Birthday stars arrives in FIFA's Ultimate Team on Friday evening.

We're expecting to see the weak foot and/or skill moves upgrade continue into the Team 2 launch, which is great news.

We're also expecting to see a host more position changes, with only Leroy Sane and Junior Sambia being moved across the pitch in the Team 1 launch.

With those two criteria in mind, this is who could feature.

Sergio Aguero (92 OVR)

Manchester City fans have been left heartbroken this week by the news that Sergio Aguero will not be at the Etihad Stadium next season.

With only one special card to his name so far this season, could EA hand the Argentine one final FUT hurrah by including him in the FUT Birthday promotion?

Arthur (88 OVR)

The vast majority of FIFA 21 promotions feature a well rounded central midfielder, a role which Piemonte Calcio's Arthur fits perfectly.

The Brazilian CM has some impressive dribbling stats and, with a ratings boost and five stars skills added to this card, this could be one of the very best FUT Birthday releases of the year.

Dimitri Payet (87 OVR)

One position changed card that we could see in the Team 2 launch is Marseille's French winger, Dimitri Payet.

The 34-year-old played a more central role in his West Ham days, so a CAM card isn't inconceivable. With 5* skills and a range of boosted stats - primarily pace - this could be yet another French beast to build into your side.

David Luiz (87 OVR)

David Luiz has been the centre of many great FIFA promos over the years, and that could continue with a FUT Birthday apperance.

A move to CDM with a 5* weak foot could see the Brazilian become one of the very best holding midfielders in this years title.

Silas Wamangituka (87 OVR)

Now this is a card that we would LOVE to see.

Former Silver Stars favourite Silas Wamagituka is one of the FIFA communites favourite cards, thanks to his electric pace and 5* skills.

A FUT Birthday appearance would take Wama to 99 pace with a 5* weak foot and 5* skills. What's not to love?

The Team 1 FUT Birthday SBC's have been top tier so far, with EA focusing on those FIFA stars from years gone by.

Again, we're thinking Team 2 will focus on position changed cards rather than nostalgia this time around, with an ST Mason Greenwood right at the top of our wishlist!

Expect to see EA continue on their trend of bringing old timers back to the main stage as far as Objectives are concerned.

A 90-rated Zlatan would be the icing on a very sweet FUT Birthday cake!
