FIFA 21: How To Do An Early Cross

With some FUT challenges requiring players to score from crosses, this one is worth getting to know.

One thing of note is that players can have an attribute for "Early Crosser", which will drastically increase your chances of success.

An early cross doesn't necessarily need to come from the wing on either side of the box, and is usually played from further away from goal.

That makes it an ideal technique for full-backs that may be perched on the edge of the opposition's third of the pitch.

While it's easy to do, it's something that takes practice to master.

To pull it off, simply press the L1 or LB button on your controller and then the cross button (by default, that's Square on PlayStation and X on Xbox controllers).

Hold the buttons longer to send the ball longer, and aim for your target man if you have one - taller players are naturally better in the air, for the most part.
