Last night, we crowned our first ever FIFA 18 Elite Series champions as Fnatic blazed past Team Envy and Unilad to win the trophy (and a sizable cash prize!) Fnatic's semi final clash against Envy was extremely close, eventually coming down to a penalty shootout which Zimme just managed to win for a final score of 7-4.Then, Unilad defeated Method 4-2 thanks to a storming performance from their star player, Gorilla. Our grand final saw Fnatic's FIFA superstar Zimme and Challenger Series draft pick Rannerz each win their games against Unilad's Tass and Shellz in a thrilling display of pro FIFA at its best, with a final score of 4-2 to Fnatic!And, true to his word, Zimme did indeed get the famous R9 haircut, as he'd promised to do if he won.
